As a registered nurse, always work within and uphold the NMC Code.
Assist in the delivery of care activities in the child/young person's own home and other community settings following an intensive training programme and competency assessment.
Work unsupported following assessment with the support of the Clinical Case Manager. Responsible for the induction and development of new care staff, under the direction of the Clinical Case Manager.
Be flexible to work flexible hours, 4/5 week rota pattern including weekends and Bank Holidays.
Undertake clinical tasks as delegated by the Clinical Case Manager.
Responsible for working with children/young people who are dependent on others for meeting some or all of their health and wellbeing needs.
Ensure the care that is delivered to the children on the caseload is of a consistently high standard.
Discuss the child/young person's support plan with the qualified nursing team, ensuring understanding of their role in providing care to meet the needs, including an understanding of the Safeguarding of Children.
Deliver care in accordance with relevant care plans, escalation plans, Standard Operating Procedures and guidance.

Person Specification Qualifications
All Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of:
Statement of NMC Registration
Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Experience
A car and valid UK driving license.
A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Registered Nurse Childrens Continuing Care (Community) environment within the last 2 years.
