Unlock your passions at Brownlow Vets Farm
The Brownlow/Border/Castle group is currently a 10 Vet practice, supported by 12 Vet Nurses and Nursing Assistants, 5 Receptionists and a Practice Manager. We are a companion animal and livestock practice with surgeries in Oswestry, Ellesmere and Chirk. You will work at our Brownlow site in Ellesmere and our Park Issa site in Oswestry. We are located in a rural setting with good transport links to train and road network.
Within our Brownlow practice, we have 4 Vets, supported by 2 Approved TB testers and 3 Reception/Support staff. We have regular team meetings and evening events, including farmer meetings and socials. Annual attendance at Oswestry Agricultural Show with full team support.
Practice facilities include on-site facilities for surgical procedures on small ruminants, access to ultrasound scanners for cattle repro work, Ovacyte faecal egg count analyser on site, use of Vetimpress tablets for ease of invoicing and access to client data while out of the practice and so much more.
Step into a supportive start
40 hours per week over 5 days per week 8:30am - 5pm with a 30-minute lunch break daily. Participation in the out of hours rota alongside the dedicated out of hours team of Farm24. Rota to be set at 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend in 4, with full backup and support.
You will be fully supported by our dedicated Vet GDP Advisor and you will also be assigned a Mentor within the team.
