- £10m Charity / Membership Organisation North-London-based Reporting to the Director of Finance, this Management Accountant role is key to the provision of quality management information to the Board and Trustees. This charity/membership organisation operates across the UK and is part of a wider international network across 50 countries. The Management Accountant will be responsible for a small finance team, overseeing month-end and annual reporting for several entities in the group. A hands-on, supervisory role, the Management Accountant will: Oversee a small team of 3 staff in finance Prepare management accounts, reports, commentary and analysis Assist with preparation of the annual budget for each entity Review month-end reconciliations; oversee supplier and debtor control Provide income recognition, cost reviews and variance analysis Ensure expenditure has cost centre authorisation and is within budget Oversee invoicing for events and other income streams Review fundraising analysis and reconcile to fundraising database Oversee production of all payrolls and control account reconciliation Oversee Gift Aid documentation and ensure claim submissions are made Proactively develop and improve financial systems and streamline processes Assist with the production of annual accounts in accordance with charity accounting rules Attend regular meetings with outsource organisations This management accountant role will learn from an impressive Director of Finance. You should be an experienced Assistant Accountant/Management Accountant/Finance Manager, either qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACMA, ACA) or qualified by relevant experience.
