I am looking for PAs to assist me out in the community as I like to be out and about doing things I love including walking around parks, swimming, going to the beach, and maybe stopping for my lunch on the way home. I would like to go to the trampoline park too, but in the quiet times. I have sensory processing disorder, Pica, and Severe Autism which means that I can get very anxious at times and may try to hurt myself. I am nonverbal but can say certain words that you will understand and be able to communicate with each other. I am double incontinent, so personal care is needed. I like to go at my own pace in life and don’t like to be pushed into doing anything, but I am willing to let the PAs make some decisions on what we do when we are together. PURPOSE OF JOB Main reason for the position is to provide support out in the community and respite for my family. Looking for 2 PAs as I will need 2:1 support. Working on weekends. HOURS OF WORK 2.5 hours per week - 2:1 care RATES OF PAY £12.00 per hour. TASKS INVOLVED Personal care and toileting needs. To ensure my safety at all times as I need full supervision when we are out. Social outings, community activities.
