Role Overview: As the Commercial Contract General Manager, you will be a key strategic leader responsible for managing the company's contractual and commercial operations. You will oversee existing client relationships, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and identify opportunities to maximize profitability and performance across the portfolio of Environmentally Permitted Process Units (5 facilities totalling 25MW eq CHP/G2G). The role involves developing and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders, supporting operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement in the commercial and contractual frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management: • Lead the negotiation, drafting, and management of commercial contracts with clients, suppliers, and third-party service providers. • Monitor compliance with existing contractual obligations, ensuring risks are identified, managed, and mitigated effectively. • Oversee performance against key contractual KPIs, including energy production, maintenance, and safety standards. • Act as the primary escalation point for resolving contractual disputes and fostering long-term, collaborative partnerships. Commercial Strategy: • Develop and implement a strategic approach to optimise contract performance and profitability. • Identify new business opportunities and commercial risks, presenting clear recommendations to senior management. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align commercial objectives with operational and SHEQ strategies. • Lead cost-benefit analyses for investments, operational improvements, and contract renegotiations. Leadership and Team Management: • Manage and mentor a team responsible for contract administration and commercial performance. • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team and wider business units. • Provide training and support to ensure commercial awareness across operational and service teams. Compliance and Reporting: • Ensure adherence to ISO standards (9001, 14001, and 45001) within the contractual and commercial framework. • Prepare and deliver regular reports on commercial performance, risks, and opportunities to the Head of Operations and Managing Directors. • Stay informed on industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends that may impact commercial operations. Key Competencies:

Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities. In-depth understanding of the renewable energy sector, particularly AD, CHP, or G2G processes. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. Qualifications & Experience:

Proven track record in commercial contract management within the renewable energy or waste management sectors. Strong knowledge of SHEQ systems and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001). Financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and driving profitability. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Chartered Manager, Tech MCIWM) and/or an MBA (desirable). NEBOSH or similar Health & Safety qualification (advantageous). Key Benefits:
