Manufacturing Manager / Director LOCATION:

Permanent SALARY:
£50,000 - £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience) We are looking for a Manufacturing or Production Manager, Head of Department, Director or similar level person for a Manufacturing business in the Coventry area. Your main duties will include overseeing the day-to-day operations across manufacturing as well as optimizing and improving any manufacturing processes throughout the business. The Manufacturing Manager will ideally have the following attributes: Qualified in a relevant Engineering / Manufacturing Degree with time served as a Manager. Previous experience working as a Manufacturing, Production, Operations or similar Manager title within manufacturing. Proven experience of improvements made within a manufacturing business. Solid knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Continuous improvement or Six Sigma. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Experience within the electro-mechanical assembly manufacturing industry - Advantageous. Familiar with Aerospace, Defence or similar - beneficial. The Manufacturing Manager role will involve: Overseeing the responsibilities for Manufacturing, Planning and other areas. Driving an attitude of continuous improvement activities within the business. Considering profit and losses whilst driving continuous improvement. Liaising with other departments to ensure KPI’s are met. Working with other management to ensure budget and delivery targets are met.
