Responsibilities
Undertake a variety of practice duties, including face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations, and rare home/care home visits. Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers. Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems. Develop care plans for patients with long-term conditions. Provide counselling and health education to patients. Admit or discharge patients to and from the caseload and refer to other care providers as appropriate. Support and supervise Physician Associates when required to ensure smooth running of the practice.
Requirements
GMC registration and licence to practice. Relevant GP qualification and experience.
