Care Manager (Activities Coordinator)

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join us as an Activities Coordinator. In this role, you will support the Regional Manager in developing and maintaining a high-quality service that meets the needs of our service users and follows our Vision, Mission and Values. Key Responsibilities:

Building a rapport with individuals and discussing activities they may enjoy. Organising activities tailored to the needs of individuals, making reasonable adjustments as required to support participation. Planning and teaching engaging person-centered sessions to meet the needs and interests of service users. Booking external entertainment, outings, transport, etc. Setting up and tidying away during activities. Helping service users engage in active participation to socialise, maintain relationships, and enjoy an inclusive life. Ensuring all environments used are safe and appropriate. Maintaining accurate records and managing budgets. Flexibility to work out of hours and be part of the on-call team (Additional Pay). Requirements:

An ability to work on your own initiative. Good digital skills. Excellent communication skills, including active listening. Organisational skills and reliable timekeeping. Empathy and understanding. A sound knowledge of safeguarding. A passion for working with clients with additional needs. Being kind, friendly, and engaging. A positive and professional manner and being a strong team player. The ability to understand and follow procedures. Good collaboration and team leading skills. A good level of literacy and numeracy. Understanding of how to work and manage a budget.
