Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Registered Nurse

to join our healthcare team in Cumbria. The successful candidate will provide essential nursing care to individuals in their homes, residential care settings, or community clinics. The role involves managing a diverse caseload of patients with a variety of health needs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote health, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes and community settings, ensuring dignity and respect.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients with complex needs.

Administer medications, wound care, injections, and other nursing procedures as needed.

Offer support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting health education and disease prevention.

Collaborate with GPs, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

Maintain accurate patient records and report on patient progress.

Conduct risk assessments and ensure that care is delivered in accordance with NHS guidelines and best practices.

Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their voice is heard in decision-making.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.

Support the discharge process by coordinating care for patients transitioning from hospital to home.

Promote independence and self-management for patients with long-term conditions.

Provide end-of-life care, ensuring patient comfort and dignity.

Qualifications and Skills:

Registered Nurse (RN)

with a valid

NMC Pin .

Experience in community healthcare or district nursing (preferred but not essential).

Strong clinical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate, empathetic, and able to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and infection control practices.
