We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, and hardworking Children's Nurses to join our ED team. You must be able to work well under pressure and have a willingness to learn and develop your own skills. The successful candidate will be expected to provide the highest standard of evidence-based, patient-centered care. Most importantly, you will share our PRIDE values and our desire to continue to improve. Our busy Children's Emergency Departments cover two sites - Queens Hospital in Romford and King George's Hospital in Goodmayes. We deliver a comprehensive range of general Paediatric and Surgical Services to our local communities. Our CED team is constantly expanding, and you will be learning and developing your knowledge while ensuring your skills are kept fully up to date. You will be supported by our Practice Development Nurse, Senior Sisters/Charge Nurses, Matrons, and members of the wider MDT Team. Main duties of the job

The role of the staff nurse is to provide hands-on clinical care to Children and Young People who attend our department. They will advocate for their patient, assess, plan, and implement care while ensuring a holistic approach and working alongside the Multi-Disciplinary Team to provide excellent care. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and will require a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions. Salary: £34,521 to £41,956 a year, per annum inclusive.
