We have a number of Advanced Clinical Pharmacist posts available offered as full-time, part-time, flexible working and home and remote working. You will provide clinical pharmacy services across The Queen Elizabeth Hospital including dispensary, outpatient, inpatient and specialist services such as homecare and virtual wards. Our team of on-site and remote pharmacists provide services to the following specialities: Cardiology Respiratory Endocrinology Medical Admissions Trauma and Orthopaedics Surgical Admissions General Surgery Women and Children Palliative care Virtual Ward Antimicrobial Stewardship As well as advanced clinical roles, we are seeking exceptional people to support Education and Development, Medicines Information, Aseptic and Cancer Services and Governance and Formulary. Master’s degree in Pharmacy plus pre-registration training resulting in registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification or proven level of equivalent experience Accredited pre-registration pharmacy student tutor and/or accredited clinical pharmacy diploma tutor Occupational experience & abilities

Previous hospital Pharmacy experience as a Clinical Pharmacist (minimum of four years post qualification including a minimum of 12 months post qualification experience in relevant specialist area) Previous experience should demonstrate that the post-holder is able to demonstrate highly specialist expertise in the actions and use of medicines in clinical situations Previous experience of supervising/mentoring junior colleagues Able to communicate highly complex information on the action and use of medicines at all levels within and outside the department Demonstrates commitment to Continuing Professional Development Previous experience of line management recruiting/day to day sickness/absence issues Willingness to undergo further training Can deliver person-focused care Has a flexible approach to work Has the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines whilst paying attention to detail Applications are welcome from anyone who meets the criteria specified in the person specification regardless of age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, belief, sexual orientation or other personal circumstances.
