Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced full time Care Services Manager/Clinical Manager with a passion and commitment for aged care to join our friendly team in our aged home care at Woolwich/Hunters Hill (41 bed). The role will work closely with the Campus GM and supported by the Quality team.
The Care Services Manager is responsible for providing clinical leadership, advice, planning, review and assessment of all aspects of clinical delivery to ensure that the safety and wellbeing of residents and staff is constantly maintained. The role has a key focus on resident care planning, assessment, quality assurance and continuous improvement, maintaining accreditation standards, overseeing the provision of specialised nursing care to residents. You will be responsible for ensuring that our consumers receive the care they need with dignity, respect and involving them in all decisions about their health.
Minimum Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA registration
Minimum three years’ experience in residential aged care in a clinical leadership role
Demonstrated effective leadership skills, including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving and negotiation
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the residential aged care industry
Ability to assess the operational performance of care services and capacity to develop strategies to improve performance and quality of care delivered to clients
Sound knowledge of aged care funding, compliance processes, risk management and continuous quality improvement principles
Postgraduate tertiary qualification in management or related field
Current unrestricted full NSW Drivers License
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write reports
Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to management and staff
