Maternity Systems Digital Midwife Band 7 Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) are seeking a passionate and dedicated Digital Midwife to play a pivotal role within the Maternity systems digital team. The post holder will collaborate closely within the digital maternity team to fulfil the digital requirements at DBTH to ensure that the service's requirements are effectively addressed. The maternity department prides itself on innovation, quality improvement and staff health and wellbeing to enable high quality care to be provided to women and families. Main duties of the job

Qualifications/training

Registered Midwife with current NMC registration Degree in relevant subject Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development demonstrated through a Professional Portfolio Knowledge of current professional, local and national policy issues Car owner with full driving license and access to a car Qualification in Digital Health, Health Informatics, or related field Formal leadership and management qualification Personal Attributes & Skills

Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in electronic patient records (EPR) and other digital healthcare systems. Ability to analyse and interpret complex data to inform decision-making Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to learn and evolve with the role Self-motivated and able to work independently Competent use of Microsoft Suite of tools to support effective working Knowledge and Experience

At least 3 years' experience as a Band 6 midwife. Experience in using digital tools and systems within a healthcare setting Experience with risk management and the reporting of incidents Working as part of project teams, or leading projects Involvement in data analysis and interpretation to inform clinical practice Knowledge of other IT systems used within the organisation such as Badger net Experience in staff training and development related to digital competencies Experience working with regional or national groups Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 a year Pro Rata Per Annum
