Social Workers within theChildren With Disabilites Team cater to children and adolescents facing severe or significant challenges such as learning disabilities, physical limitations, sensory impairments, or profound communication barriers.

You will collaborate with various agencies, particularly in the healthcare sector. Your role involves responding to new referrals promptly and ensuring an effective initial intervention, while also nurturing enduring relationships with families to support their aspirations. This position will specialise in providing assistance to children requiring ongoing care.

Your work will be purpose-driven, with a confident handling of associated risks. The team is well-equipped to facilitate timely operations while allowing ample room for reflection - reflection being key to any social work practice.

Within the Children With Disabilites Team, workers embody kindness, consistency, and a sharp focus when engaging with children, adolescents, and their families or caregivers. Managers are easily accessible, and staff well-being stands as a top priority.
