Job Purpose To provide flexible support for an active boy, enabling him to safely enjoy activities.
Location Overstrand, NR27
Job Details We are seeking a personal assistant to support a 9-year-old boy who is very active and loves to get out and about. He is Autistic and has limited verbal skills, but he really enjoys activities such as going to the playground or beach, and he goes to a dance class on Saturdays. He is incontinent; therefore, his PA would need to provide some personal care.
Required Characteristics
Flexible and reliable
Energetic and enthusiastic
Experience with young people
Knowledge/experience with Autism
Driver with own car and relevant class of business insurance an advantage
Summary Terms and Conditions
The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour.
Hours of work: Up to 3 hrs weekly. Flexible, to discuss at interview stage (outside normal school hours).
5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays.

A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
