Children's Social Care Out of Hours Social Worker
(18.5 hours) Salary range: Level 3: £45,940 - £49,140 per annum based on full-time (includes £5,719 contractual supplement) plus 20% unsociable hours enhancement. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed, qualified social worker (Social Work England registration required), of levels 2 and 3 experience to join our well-established Children’s Out of Hours Team and help us achieve our vision for all our children, young people, and families in Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Council. You will ensure that children and their voices are at the heart of everything we do. This approach must be embedded as a core ethos within the team's work, including ensuring that children at risk or in need of immediate protection, and those requiring intervention during a crisis, are safeguarded and supported appropriately. You will be expected to work unsociable hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, alongside the Team Manager, Assistant Team Managers, and Social Workers in the team. You need to be local to the BCP area, as there will be times when you will need to see children/young people and their families when working, and to be able to work from the office locations currently based in Poole at weekends and during bank holidays. We will require you to: Be an essential car user. Have a minimum of 3 years front line SW safeguarding experience.
