The Administrative Officer will assist in providing administrative and clerical support to the Catering Department, ensuring the efficient running of the Catering Office including invoice processing and preparation, data input into the Catering financial system, telephone enquiries and consulting with wards, departments and suppliers as required by managing Facilities computerised support systems. (Training will be provided on all computerised systems) About us

Qualifications/ Training
Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) standard with pass grade in English RSA III typing/word processing (or equivalent) - (for WP posts) NVQ Level 2 Business Administration (or equivalent) Previous Experience
Relevant experience of working in a clerical/administrative role Microsoft Office systems Previous NHS experience Dealing directly with public and different health care staff Skills
Good verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal skills Well organised & motivated Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines Good computing skills and familiarity with a number of software packages e.g., MS Office, Excel Ability to remain calm under pressure Good understanding of and ability to demonstrate customer care Knowledge
