Personal Assistants / Companions (x 2) P/T

4 – 9 hrs per week (approx)
Days / Hours:
(Earliest start 10.00am / latest finish 2.00pm – except Sat 6pm latest finish)
Shifts:
To be worked over 7 days (Mon – Sun)
Rate of Pay:
£12.00 – £13.15 per hr
Duties:
Provide personal care assistance, social support, and companionship to a gentleman living with Spina Bifida and is a bilateral amputee.
Assist with personal care including showering, dressing, breakfast preparation, and medication prompting.
Perform essential hygiene housework and food preparation/batch cooking.
Support attendance at GP appointments and social outings, including cinema trips, shopping in Glasgow, and meetings.
Maintain confidentiality as the support will be mainly in the individual's home.
Requirements:
Friendly, outgoing, patient, and genuinely interested in supporting independence.
Experience with clients with physical disabilities is desirable but not essential.
One or more team members should ideally be a driver with a clean driver’s license, use of own car, and business insurance.
Successful applicants must undergo a new PVG Disclosure at the employer’s expense and supply 2 reference contacts prior to appointment.
6-month probationary period with 1 week's notice if the post does not work out.
