Location: Taunton, Somerset Salary- Up to £39,000
We are working on behalf of a well-established fostering agency seeking a dedicated Supervising Social Worker to join their team in Taunton. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support, guidance, and supervision to our foster carers, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to provide a loving and nurturing environment for children in their care. Key Responsibilities: Provide regular supervision and support to foster carers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the needs of children in their care. Conduct comprehensive assessments of foster homes and families. Develop and implement individualized care plans for children in foster care. Maintain strong relationships with local authorities and other relevant agencies. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Experience: Social Work degree or equivalent qualification Current registration with the Social Work England Proven experience in fostering or adoption Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
