Personal Assistant - JCB
Location: Gosport
I am a bubbly and intelligent 29-year-old man living at home with my parents. I have a condition called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and require assistance with all aspects of daily living activities.
I am looking for friendly, caring, and professional personal assistants to join my growing team.
Driving license is required.
The role will require you to support me within my home and community throughout the week. I require support with completing personal care while using moving and handling equipment.
I currently require three roles, which are:
A weekend worker to work Saturdays 10am - 12pm and 4pm - 7pm and Sundays 11am - 1pm and 4pm - 7pm.
Maternity cover to work Mondays 9.30am - 12.30pm, Tuesdays 9.30am - 12.30pm, Wednesdays 9.30am - 12.30pm and 4pm - 6pm, Thursdays 9.30am - 4pm and Fridays 9.30am - 12.30pm.
A flexible bank worker to cover sickness and annual leave.
The hourly rate of pay is currently £12.86 per hour with enhanced rates for bank holiday hours.
All training will be provided, including the Care Certificate, where required, and the opportunity to gain a level 2/3 qualification if desired.
5.6 weeks holiday is awarded per year as standard (pro rata for part-time positions). Employees are also able to join the Company Pension scheme after 3 months’ service, subject to the rules of the scheme, as well as our Cash Back Health Plan after completion of a successful probation period.
