Salary details:
£680 - £750 per week - Paid Holiday, Loyalty Scheme Available, Pension Scheme We are seeking Live In Carers to join our amazing team of Healthcare professionals.
Join our team today! As a Live-In Carer, you will have the privilege of living with our customers to provide the very best care. You are there to be a companion, but also to help them remain as independent as possible in their own home and cherish all the memories they’ve made there.
You will work up to 8 hours per day with the customer providing the required care and support whilst also sleeping in the premises overnight to be on hand if required. Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays If you use your own vehicle for customer use, you will be entitled to 30p per mile Refer a friend bonus scheme - up to £200 each time Paid Holiday on a pro rata basis 3 meals a day included You will also have a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WIFI. Blue light card, offering store discounts at retailers e.g., clothing, Halfords as well as a discount on days out to Chessington/Thorpe Park/Alton Towers etc Opportunities for career development, both out in the field and office-based Support from our Mental Health Champions You will have regular contact with your supervisor along with access to our career pathway Scheduled daily and weekly breaks which you can spend as you wish in or outside of the customer’s home A clearly defined schedule of working time vs downtime during each day Loyalty Scheme available via Care Friends App. To begin with, you will live with our customers for
3 weeks on and one week off , but once you’re embedded into your role, you will be able to stay for
a maximum of 8 working weeks at a time.
Previous experience is a bonus but not a requirement.
Live-in Carers are matched to our customers to ensure our customers and you get along. You must have: Right to work in the UK Excellent level of English. It is desirable to have a driving licence and your own vehicle but not essential. Daily duties will include providing personal care duties, administering medication, manual handling, using equipment where required, promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full.
