Main duties of the job Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aseptic services unit, including the preparation, compounding, and dispensing of aseptic products within the Aseptic Units at Worthing and St. Richard's Hospitals. Ensure that all aseptic preparations meet the highest standard of quality and safety. Maintain strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), section 10 and other relevant regulatory guidelines. Lead and supervise a team of technicians, SMTs, and assistants, providing training, support, and performance evaluations. Coordinate with service users and other healthcare professionals to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of aseptic services. Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.

Person Specification Professional Registration Essential Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Experience/Qualifications Essential BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent. Further post-graduate qualifications in management or sufficient experience gained in practice to equate to this level of training. Expert knowledge and experience of pharmacy aseptic services. Desirable PIPC accredited. People Management and Development Essential Experience of management of a team of staff. Experience of leading change management.
