Various contract opportunities for candidates seeking both Full Time and Part Time positions - Immediate Start Available Days and hours to be agreed upon; however, cover will be required during operational hours: 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday. Occasional/Optional Saturdays. 30 Minute Lunch Job Summary To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and administrative duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include, but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, patient registration, booking appointments, processing information (electronic and hard copy), and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages, and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers. Primary Responsibilities Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointment system Processing personal, telephone, and e-requests for appointments Answering incoming phone calls, transferring calls, or dealing with the caller's request appropriately Signposting patients to the correct service Processing incoming and outgoing mail including AccuRx queries Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients, team members, and external agencies Actioning GP2GP tasks Photocopying documentation as required Filing and storing records as required Overseeing and monitoring patient registrations through the

platform, including data entry of new and temporary registrations and relevant patient information Inputting data into the patient’s healthcare records as necessary Scanning patient-related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patient’s healthcare records Processing requests for information (i.e., SAR, insurance/solicitors letters and DVLA forms) to the administrative team Managing all queries (including administrative queries) as necessary in an efficient manner Carrying out system searches as requested Maintaining a clean, tidy, effective working area in accordance with GDPR at all times Monitoring and maintaining the reception area and notice boards Supporting all clinical staff with general tasks as requested Secondary Responsibilities Supporting administrative and reception staff, providing cover during staff absences Completing opening and closing procedures in accordance with the duty rota As required, supporting the clinical pharmacist in the management of repeat prescriptions, ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently The Candidate Ability to work well within a small team Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive documentation Experience of working within a customer-focused environment Excellent organisational skills Proficient in the use of IT software (Microsoft Office) Previous NHS experience with knowledge of SystemOne desirable We kindly request that recruitment agencies
