As an IPS Employment Specialist with Southdown’s Substance Misuse Employment Service, you will be instrumental in supporting individuals undergoing structured treatment for substance misuse to secure sustainable employment. Your role involves managing a caseload of clients, delivering personalised guidance through the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, and fostering strong relationships with both clinical teams at Change Grow Live and local employers. You will adapt your support strategies to meet the diverse needs of clients, helping them navigate the path to employment while promoting their recovery journey. With a focus on collaboration and empathy, you will contribute to a holistic approach that recognises the vital role of work in enhancing well-being and recovery outcomes.
