Our client has an exciting opportunity for a full-time (office-based) Legal Assistant/Secretary to join an ambitious, enthusiastic, and expanding Commercial Services Business Unit. The position is integral to the smooth running of the Commercial Services Unit. You will need to be able to prioritise tasks for each unit and manage expectations with the fee earners. As Legal Assistant/Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to our busy team, ensuring unparalleled levels of client service.

You will be working primarily with the Commercial Property, Corporate, Dispute Resolution, and Employment Teams, and will need to assist other units when necessary. You must be able to handle pressure and prioritise your daily workload.

Key Responsibilities of this role: Exceptional secretarial skills Precise typing and digital dictation skills Case management experience - efficiently administer new clients' requirements by opening files and generating standard letters and documents as instructed Enter accurate client data into the case management system, maintaining close attention to detail Utilise a confident telephone manner to engage with existing and prospective clients Ensure compliance with the firm's money laundering requirements, including the verification of client identification

Additional Requirements of this role: Team player Adaptability Meticulous administrative skills, undertaking photocopying, filing & scanning Proactive & enthusiastic

It is essential that the successful candidate be able to demonstrate previous experience and knowledge of working as a Legal Assistant/Secretary in a legal environment and that they have the skills required to undertake this role.
