Evolve is working with a family-run independent pharmacy that has been serving the community of Aberdeenshire for over 30 years.

Due to retirement, our client is seeking a new GPhC registered Pharmacist to join their supportive and long-standing team working across branches in Inverurie (AB51). These are busy stores dispensing (phone number removed) items per month, however they have dispensing robots in place to help, as well as a fantastic team of 39!

They can be flexible on working hours, but are ideally looking for someone to join on a full-time basis over 4 or 5 days per week (Part time considered if required).

Open on experience: Whether you're a newly qualified Pharmacist seeking your first position post-registration, or you're a seasoned Pharmacist looking for the next step in your career, this could be the role for you!

Salary ranges from £45,000 to £57,000 depending on experience and IP qualification, however our client is willing to support Pharmacists in becoming IP qualified as the Superintendent is a Designated Prescribing Practitioner.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist

Dispense prescription medicines per regulations and contracts. Review GP orders, identify errors, and prepare medications (compounding, packaging, labelling). Monitor drug therapies, advise on interventions, and ensure accurate dosage and safe supply. Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage pharmacy operations. Provide pharmacological information and counsel patients on therapies. Maintain controlled drug registers and supervise dossette box preparation. Advise the public on minor ailments and conduct medicine reviews.

Recruitment Process 2/3 stage interview process.
