Locum - 5x days per week/37.5 hours Pay Rate:

£28.52 per hour (assignment rate) Main Duties: Manage a caseload of clients with a range of identified needs, including social communication difficulties and Autism. Provide high-quality speech and language therapy in conjunction with families and other professionals. Work autonomously as a Specialist or Highly Specialist SLT within the community team. Provide an advanced standard of assessment, clinical diagnosis, treatment, and management of communication difficulties in children. Evaluate outcomes of assessments and provide advice and feedback to parents and professionals as appropriate. Devise and deliver appropriate highly specialist intervention/care plans for clients with complex communication needs. Work as part of the integrated therapies team ensuring the delivery of joined-up care plans. Provide specialist training for other professionals in communication development and difficulties. Assist in the development of skills relating to this area for colleagues, including SLTs, SLTAs, and teaching assistants. Work collaboratively with family/carers and all agencies involved with the child’s care. Support the leadership of the children’s speech and language service in Havering.
