Due to the retirement of a long-standing member of our team, we are looking for a passionate and committed Practice Nurse/ Nurse Practitioner to join our established and friendly nursing team at Springfield Surgery.
This is an ideal role for a newly qualified or experienced Practice Nurse/ Nurse Practitioner to start or continue their career working in General Practice.
Will consider part-time or full-time applicants.
Salary based on experience.
5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata) plus bank holidays.
Indemnity cost and NMC covered by the Practice.
NHS pension scheme.

Main duties of the job: The post holder is responsible for the delivery of general practice nursing to the whole practice population. The focus of the role is both the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients presenting with a long-term condition and the provision of nursing and preventative health care to the practice population. As an autonomous practitioner, the nurse is responsible for the care delivered, demonstrating critical thinking and skills in clinical decision-making in the management of patients. They will work collaboratively within the general practice team to meet the needs of patients and support the delivery of policy and procedures.
