As an NMC registered Nurse or an HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner with experience of working in anaesthetics, you will have experience of intubation, extubation and resuscitation of patients, alongside up-to-date sound clinical knowledge of anaesthetics, sedatives, muscle relaxants and emergency drugs. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate competency in IV therapies and catheterisation. Job responsibilities

As an Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care in the operating theatre. Person Specification

Qualifications

NMC registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner Experience in anaesthetics Experience

Experience of intubation, extubation, and resuscitation Competency in IV therapies and catheterisation Additional Criteria

Ability to work collaboratively in a team Commitment to ongoing professional development Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. £42,831.15 a year. Up to £42,831.15 per annum based on experience.
