As one of the practices Dispensing Opticians, you will play a vital role in our patient-centred practice. They pride themselves on offering a wide range of luxury optical brands, including Lindberg, Face-a Face, Etnia Barcelona, and Tom Ford.
With a spacious and well-equipped facility, the practice incorporates the latest technology and features an onsite glazing lab for repairs and express jobs. They also work closely with renowned external supplier labs, such as Hoya and Zeiss, for most glazing requirements.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
• Provide expert dispensing services to valued patients, offering a hands-on “Style Consultation” to help them select the perfect eyewear from our extensive range of luxury brands. • Utilize your technical expertise to accurately interpret prescriptions, advise on lens options, and perform fittings. • Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring that each patient receives personalized attention and care. • Collaborate with the team of qualified staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences. • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion and style, ensuring our stock reflects the preferences of our clientele. Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
• Qualified Dispensing Optician with GOC and up to date with all CET points. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and understand their unique needs. • Strong technical expertise in dispensing and a keen eye for eyewear fashion. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Flexibility to work 2-3 days a week, including Saturdays. There is a competitive salary of up to £32,000 pro-rata on offer (based on experience). Working hours are 8.45 – 17.30 Monday to Saturday and are looking for someone to work 2-3 days (ideally consisting of Friday, Saturday and one other weekday). Annual Bonus split amongst staff based on practice rather than individual performance. 5 weeks holiday. Free pair of Specs per year. You will be working with a supportive and friendly team environment, where patient experience and customer focus is priority number one.
