It's crucial to build a connection with the people you're caring for, and you should be able to handle the physical aspects of the role. As part of the role, you will be required to have experience in:
Tracheostomy care
Tracheal suctioning
Medication administration

Job responsibilities Hourly Pay: £11.44 Location: Burgess Hill Shift: Mondays 8.00am-12.00pm, Tuesdays 9.30am-2.45pm, Fridays 8.00am-5.50pm
Being a Sonderwell carer isn’t just about caring; it’s about being good with people, too – gaining the trust of clients and their families. If you have a caring personality and relevant experience, we’ll provide online and classroom training in specific complex care needs, as well as the chance to study for a relevant NVQ. Depending on the client, you may work on your own or as part of a team. Before you start, you’ll have the chance to meet your client and their family, with day-to-day support from a Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager available to answer your questions. You’ll also have access to our ‘Carer App’ for insights and information.
