The Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 5 or Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist within our multi-disciplinary Therapy team. This is a temporary position for maternity cover. Speech and Language Therapists within Hedley’s College play a vital role in supporting students and their families with specialist interventions such as both high-tech and low-tech AAC, signing systems, and social skill development. The successful candidate would provide input to a caseload of students with complex speech, language, and communication needs as well as possible dysphagia needs. You would become part of an existing, dedicated team of therapists who strive to deliver best practice at all times, with opportunities to shape a service to meet the ever-changing needs of those we support.
