What will you do? Make an impact!

Main purpose of job: To assist the Transfer Station Manager in the safe, compliant and efficient operation and development of Cheshire Waste Management Centre. Working on a hazardous waste management site and providing technical support and basic chemical analysis for the operation, ensuring efficient management of material receipt, dispatch and on-site storage.

Your responsibilities will include: Carry out inspection, analysis and routing for incoming wastes. Arrange and prepare waste for outgoing loads ensuring all loads meet all required legislation. Liaise with customer service and technical assessment departments to resolve issues such as non-conformance. Assist in maintenance tasks where necessary. Do you have what it takes?

A scientific/environmental qualification at HNC level as a minimum. Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. We expect you to
