The Role:
As Senior Environmental Health Officer, you can make your own powerful contribution to ensuring everyone in Westminster can thrive in a clean, safe and quiet city. You'll play a vital role in helping junior colleagues to develop their careers. You will take the lead on complex cases, mentor and support junior officers, and draw on your specialist technical skills to champion health and wellbeing across a range of high profile cases. Your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and enforcing environmental health policies and legislation, as well as supporting the Principal Officer in training and quality monitoring systems.
About You:
To join us, you'll need relevant qualifications and a proven track record of post-qualification experience. You should have experience managing complex environmental health complaints and excellent communication, relationship building, and conflict management skills. A commitment to exceptional customer service and public health improvement is essential.
