A bit about the nursery Spring Kinloss Nursery provides high quality early learning and childcare experiences for babies and young children from 4 months to 5 years, registered to care for up to 100 children. A large purpose-built centre which includes bright, well-resourced rooms for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. There is an enclosed garden area that allows all children to explore, investigate and extend their learning. A bit about the role As an

Early Years Practitioner Level 3 , you play a vital role in providing high quality care and education to our young children. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that promote children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework, this includes observing and assessing children's progress ensuring that each child's individual needs are met and fostering a safe and nurturing environment. You will work collaboratively with your colleagues to create a positive atmosphere, maintain a clean and organised learning space, and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their child's development. You will support the management in maintaining records and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities. What you'll be doing In the role of Early Years Practitioner Level 3, you'll be: Supervising children and keeping our active, flexible nursery environment safe and suited to their needs. Giving children a wide range of stimulating, safe and well-planned activities. Creating engaging, fun and informative learning opportunities, to help children make excellent progress in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Building solid relationships with parents / carers, families and professionals involved with the children. Meeting each of the children's individual needs, keeping accurate records and regularly communicating with parents / carers. Having a positive attitude, making every single day count for the children in our care. What we need from you In the role of Early Years Practitioner Level 3, we're ideally looking for someone who has: A SCQF level 7 Early Years qualification e.g. HNC Early Education & Childcare, NNEB, SCCEB, SVQ 3 Children's Care Learning & Development or equivalent qualification recognised by the SSSC. A passion to learn and develop whether you are newly qualified or an experienced practitioner. Full understanding of children's emotional, physical, psychological and educational developmental needs from 0 to 5 years. A positive attitude with an unwavering commitment to service excellence to allow us to maintain our high standards.
