Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £40k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a UKAS-accredited Asbestos company in the North East. They are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Asbestos Surveyor to cover new Commercial, Industrial and Public Sector Client sites. Ideally, you will be based around: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, South Shields, Gateshead, Prudhoe, Ashington, Amble, Whitley Bay, Sunderland, Houghton le Spring, Consett, Seaham, Durham, Spennymoor, Peterlee, Hartlepool, Bishop Auckland, Newton Aycliffe, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Barnard Castle, Redcar, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Staithes, Guisborough, Yarm, Northallerton, Richmond.
Experience / Qualifications:
Must be qualified with the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) Will have experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a well-established outfit Well-versed in UKAS and HSG guidelines Strong IT and written ability Flexibility to travel as per company requirements The Role:
Conducting the full range of Asbestos Surveys (Management, Demolition and Refurbishment) Safely sampling suspected ACMs Writing bespoke asbestos survey reports with detailed drawings / floor plans Providing thorough technical advice and updates for Clients Working across a mixed portfolio of Commercial, Residential, Industrial and Public Sector Client sites Maintaining strong working relationships with Clients Future Select are the leading market supplier for recruitment in the Asbestos industry; we work with the best clients and candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the asbestos market. We have a large dedicated team, with over 25 years combined industry experience within Asbestos recruitment specifically geared to dealing with Asbestos Surveyors/Analysts/Lab Technicians, Administrators, Project/Regional /Technical/Quality/Training/Sales Managers through to Director Level for both Consultancy & Removal.
