The post holder will ensure that they follow the service principles and strategy for people with a learning disability while delivering safe, effective and high-quality specialist service in line with agreed standards. The post holder will have excellent communication skills and will be a visible and accessible member of the team, patients and their families can access for assistance, advice and support. The post holder will be expected to communicate and receive highly complex and sensitive information and be able to analyse and interpret information and act appropriately where there may be barriers to acceptance. The post holder will have a good understanding of the CHC process and also be part of the development of pathways and Maturity Matrix.
