Oxford Nanopore Technologies is headquartered at the Oxford Science Park outside Oxford, UK, with satellite offices and a commercial presence in many global locations across the US, APAC and Europe. We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Biologics Production team as a Biologics QC Analyst to carry out the day to day production of kit and flowcell components. The Details... Reporting to the Biologics Manager, the successful candidate will undertake the day to day production of kit and flowcell components including: Expression and purification of proteins Production of DNA/RNA analytes Tech transfer work such as process scale up and continuous process improvement Ensuring batch records are accurately followed Carrying out testing as required Other responsibilities include: Equipment management including liaising with the manufacturer Continuous improvement and troubleshooting Production data tracking Updating BPs and item specifications Raising Change Note, Deviation, CAPA and Non-conformance General lab maintenance Batch records review What We're Looking For... We'll expect you to have relevant laboratory experience, ideally within a chemistry, biochemistry or pharmaceutical environment or in large scale protein, DNA, or chemicals processing. You should have a working knowledge of chemical, biochemical or molecular biology techniques as appropriate for the specific area and be familiar with GMP and GLP. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies would also be beneficial. We're looking for an individual who is well organised, resilient under pressure with a good eye for detail and who likes to take a systematic approach to work. This role will suit someone who is quality and process driven, team orientated, responsive to customer needs and who wants to influence change positively and effectively.
