This post will enable thesuccessful applicant to develop both their clinical reasoning and treatmentskills further as well as gaining leadership experience across a wide range ofservices. Support will be provided from the Senior Therapists and the widerteam of Nurses, AHPs and Support workers. You will be an excellentcommunicator, enthusiastic, flexible and able to work autonomously using strongclinical assessment and reasoning skills as well as supporting complexdischarges. You will demonstrate a desireto work creatively to bring about innovative service development and commit toputting the patient at the centre of your work. Main duties of the job

The role of the Band 5Physiotherapist is to provide, develop and deliver a specialised and skilledlevel of Physiotherapy intervention specific to the service. These vary byrotation but examples will include delivering planned treatment interventionsin the frail older adults on the ward, stroke ward, community visits forpatients discharged from the community hospital, and supporting the Long COVIDservice and respiratory team. Qualifications

HCPC Registered BSc or equivalent in Physiotherapy Completion of student placements Evidence of on-going CPD / Reflective Practice in-line with job role MCSP MSK / Community / Acute work based training Accredited Training Experience

Broad placement-based experience in cardiopulmonary, MSK, community and/or ward as Band 5 or in student rotations. Delivering group-based treatment Participating in clinical and/or operational audits Experience of NHS working (student level acceptable) Participating in clinical and/or operational audits /evaluations Experience of working in a community-based service Additional Criteria

Access to a vehicle that can be used for business purposes and hold a full and valid driving licence. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
