MILK Education are working in partnership with a specialist provision in Sunderland who are currently recruiting for a School Behaviour Mentor to support students in an all through SEMH Primary and Secondary school. There are 2 positions available, 1 at their Primary site and 1 at their Secondary. You must be able to demonstrate a level of flexibility of working across KS1-KS2 or KS3-KS4, supporting students with SEMH. You will be required to assist with the delivery of daily lessons and supporting students on a 1:1 and small groups basis. The right person for this school must be a positive role model, who is patient and understanding. As a key support member in the students' day to day routine, you must be a confident individual and positive role model who is able to actively listen and support students with both learning and mentoring. This is a full time position to start after February half term - 8:30-16:00.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and support to individuals in a mentoring relationship. Help mentees set and achieve personal and professional goals. Offer advice and share personal experiences to assist mentees in their development. Foster a positive and supportive environment for mentees to learn and grow. Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to mentees. Collaborate with other mentors and program coordinators to ensure the success of the mentoring program. About You:
Previous experience in a mentoring or coaching role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with mentees.
