To provide clinical and administrative support for the provision of dental care in Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) dental centres (DC), to enhance force generation and operational capability and minimise dental morbidity on operations. Job responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to: Ensure their surgery is prepared appropriately for the days patients in accordance with current regulations. Carry out dental work under the direction of a registered dentist who has examined the patient and indicated in writing the course of treatment to be provided. Clean and sterilise all equipment in accordance with Defence Primary Healthcare. Manage the patient appointment system as required and accurately record treatment on each patient's electronic health records. Current full General Dental Council (GDC) registration Certificate/Diploma in Dental Hygiene or BSc in Dental Therapy Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 a year, per annum, pro rata for part-time.
