We are an international company that develops fragrance and flavours for products, such as toothpaste, bath and shower products, laundry care or household cleaning. The Ashford site is part of the fragrance division and we are also the main centre for developing oral care products. We are located on the Kennington Road in Ashford, Kent.

We are currently recruiting for Oral Care Panellists to join the Sensory team in Ashford.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The position advertised is for Oral Care Sensory Panellists. As a Panellist, you will work as part of a team smelling and tasting various products for different attributes. For example, as an Oral Care Panellist, we might ask you how minty or fresh a toothpaste sample tastes.

The positions will be part-time and contracted with a minimum number of sessions and hours per week.

The Oral Care panels will require you to taste oral care products e.g. toothpastes and mouthwashes and make various measurements.

The panel runs weekly on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm and you must be available to attend all sessions.

As an Oral Care Panellist you will: Be asked to taste market products and experimental ingredients and technologies in consumer oral care product applications Assess oral care products according to agreed protocols and standards Objectively assess the performance of a product in terms of strength, malodour reduction efficacy and flavour character. The required attributes also include an excellent sense of taste and smell to meet Givaudan’s sensory panel standards. This will be assessed during the selection process.
