An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager to work in a brand new residential care service opening soon based in the Pontypridd, Wales area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

This is a brand new adult care service opening in early 2025, undergoing a huge refurbishment & will be modern, top of the line residential service.

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

Dedicated to undertaking the deputy management of supporting people with learning disabilities and other complex needs, your team will support service users in your care to achieve their goals in life and will actively seek out opportunities for them to develop their skills and confidence through a variety of staff involvement, activities and other initiatives. You will effectively lead and inspire your team to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care. Be responsible for delivering best practice in social care whilst continually developing the service. You will have the opportunity to use your skills in an environment where the effective management of people and processes will be critical to the service's success.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Commitment to delivering high quality care. Previous deputy managerial experience in a similar environment. Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards. Fine-tuned decision-making skills. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Flexibility and strong 'can do' attitude.

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP14.10 per hour, with an annual salary of GBP29,328 per annum.
