Full time – Term Time + 10 days Salary: Grade 6 SCP 11-17 £27,269 – £30,060 FTE (£24,542 - £27,054 actual salary) Level 6 Qualification required Permanent Post to commence 3rd March 2025 The Directors and Governors are seeking to appoint an excellent, caring, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant to become part of our Early Years Team, based in our Nursery in the first instance. The successful applicant will need to have relevant training and specific experience of working with young children together with a sound knowledge of the EYFS framework. We are looking for candidates who are committed to creating stimulating learning environments for our youngest children and are motivated to encourage and develop a love of learning. Ideally applicants should:
have a good understanding of children’s learning and how to support them to achieve their potential have a good standard of spoken and written English and Maths have a good understanding of the teaching of early reading and early phonics have a caring disposition, able to support both the educational and emotional needs of pupils be an excellent and enthusiastic practitioner, committed to high standards make a valuable contribution to the work of our school foster strong and supportive relationships with parents and carers become fully involved in all aspects of school life The successful applicant will possess an approved and relevant Level 6 Professional qualification (BA/BA Hons/ QTS/EYTS/EYPS).
