£23,151.50 per annum (£12.00 per hour) Location:
Rhydyfelin, Rhondda Cynon Taf Contract/Hours:
Permanent, Part Time - 16 hours per week - Tuesday to Saturday between core hours of 09:00 and 22:00 (3 hours per session) Benefits: 29 days annual leave PLUS bank holidays, with up to 5 additional days for continuous service and option to buy or sell leave Gain professional qualifications and excellent training/development opportunities Flexible maternity, adoption, and paternity packages Pension with up to 7% employer contribution with included life assurance cover Staff discount portal and Blue Light Card eligibility with 15,000 national retailers discounts. RCT Community Short Breaks allows children to enjoy a safe, meaningful experience and an opportunity has arisen for Community Short Breaks Workers to join our dedicated, friendly, warm and professional team. The Community Short Breaks Project provides support to children and young people with disabilities. This includes support to access community-based activities on a 1:1 basis, small groups, activities at the community and project base. We are ready to support and develop you to build on the experience you already have. We would love to hear from you if you want to help change lives by working at the forefront of child-centered care. You will make a difference by: Helping young people with disabilities have a presence in the community. Providing a safe environment where they can enjoy time, learn and have fun in a safe setting. Helping them in all aspects of their daily lives and supporting their health and happiness. Let's talk about you Our job description for the Community Short Breaks Worker outlines the requirements of the role but the 'must-haves' are: Experience of working with children/young people with disabilities is desirable but not essential. NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care/Playwork (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. Flexibility to work a variation of session patterns.
