28 hours per week Contract:

Fixed until 31st December 2026 To work with carers across Leeds to enable them to access and use digital technology for everyday tasks (e.g. managing health online / food shopping) by providing necessary equipment and training, alongside applying for equipment/WIFI grants where necessary. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Undertake an assessment process to identify individual needs, address accessibility requirements, and ascertain whether equipment is required. Advertise the project and work with local third sector organisations to reach isolated and marginalised carers across Leeds. Maintain our written digital information guides which are distributed to carers. Offer telephone and face-to-face support (often in the home of a carer) to enable carers to make good use of technology, working alongside a small team and volunteers to provide this where necessary. Contribute to maintaining Carers Leeds digital resources on our website. Support colleagues to develop their own digital skills needed to support carers digitally. Maintain Carers Leeds status as a digital health hub. Evaluate the service provided to carers. Represent Carers Leeds at external events/partnerships/info stalls etc. Be a member of the digital working group. This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS check. Car driver essential.
