Band 4 Inpatient Occupational Therapy Assistant Surrey
Hunter AHP have an exciting opportunity for a therapy assistant to secure an ongoing locum contract. This role is based in a 28-bed rehabilitation hospital. You must have a full driving licence and access to a car.
The assistant will be required to carry out wash and dress assessments, kitchen assessments, travel to patients' properties to deliver equipment, accompany OTs on access visits and home visits/discharge home visits, and assist physiotherapists with progression of mobility and exercise plans. You will work as part of a wider highly experienced multi-disciplinary therapy team which includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, and other assistants to run classes. Key responsibilities of the assistant role: Assist in providing a high-quality therapy assistant service to support individuals within an inpatient setting.
