Finberry Primary School is looking to recruit enthusiastic and hardworking part-time
Intervention Teaching Assistant
to support in our Nursery. Our schools are growing and we are excited to expand our team! You will be working alongside the class teacher and the School SENDCo. We are seeking a dedicated individual with
a minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
Candidates currently enrolled in a relevant training course will also be considered. All qualifications will be verified against the DFE approved EYFS Practitioner list. We are looking for teaching assistants who: Recognise that our current education system needs to radically change to better prepare our young people for the 21st century Are able to take advantage of the latest technology to support modern, 21st century learning Want to develop their own practice to meet the needs of an evolving school system Want to develop children as life-long, curious learners Want to build strong relationships with children that facilitate their learning Want to teach in enabling environments that promote flexibility, collaboration and independence This role is: Term time only working 15hrs per week Monday to Friday - 12.30pm- 3:30pm
(the headteacher has discretion to adapt these times, specific times will be discussed at interview) Paid at pro rata KR3 - approximately £8,021 43 paid weeks to include 5 weeks holiday pay Please note this role is attached to funding and therefore will be a temporary contract subject to annual review on 31st August 2025. If the funding is removed or reduced the contract may change before the review date. Our school and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service. Please note that references will be requested prior to interview,

A large, purpose-built site in Finberry Village, the school has an on-site nursery for 2, 3 and 4 year olds and also hosts a Specialist Resource Provision dedicated for children with a primary need type of Autism.
