The post holder will have professional responsibility for a defined population/caseload and lead the delivery & organisation of the public health program. Delivering the nursing component of the school health program to a school age population within a defined number of schools. Based within the community setting, the practitioner is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care offered to families and external organisations, with particular attention to safeguarding children. Theywill be responsible for coordinating and delegating work within a skill mix team. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. About us

Qualifications

Healthcare Degree SCPHN RGN Level 1 SCPHN / Nurse Prescriber (which level) Evidence of CPD to Post Graduate Diploma Level Teaching Qualification or experience Masters Degree Management Experience Aptitude and Abilities

Able to work as an autonomous practitioner Leadership and management skills Organisational and assessment skills Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills Able to respect and value the contributions of others Knowledge of research Ability to speak Welsh Experience

Community Experience Experience working as part of a MDT Willing to undertake further training in respect of specialist role Experience in undertaking nurse led clinics Experience in Continence promotion/Urology/Gynaecology Other

Ability to travel in between bases in a timely manner Disclosure and Barring Service Check
