Applicants from Pharmacists that have completed or are working towards completion of a Pharmacy Clinical Diploma are welcome. In addition, we would actively support completion of the non-medical prescribing qualification, subject to funding. Rotations will be 6 months in duration and will include rotating through different medical wards. Successful applicants will be required: To deliver, direct, develop and evaluate clinical Pharmacy services to the adult wards within the Medicine Division including: A&E, Urgent Care, Respiratory, Cardiology, General Medicine, Endocrinology and Care of the Elderly ward To promote the safe, effective, and economic use of medicines through a number of methods including the development of guidelines, teaching, training and audit. To coach, mentor and supervise those staff allocated and to participate in the provision of training to Pharmacy staff and other healthcare workers To develop own skills, knowledge, and expertise in all areas.
